For those who are new to VuFine let me give a brief outline of it. VuFine wearable display is an innovative wearable display that lets you enjoy technology in a hands-free environment. It is a wearable display, not a wearable computer. It has no user interface and no need to download the apps or any operating system or proprietary software. It does not have any camera. This is a high definition, a wearable display that connects to a large range of glasses and mirrors through a magnetic docking station and can be linked to any gadget capable of outputting a 720p signal. The box includes the [amazon_textlink asin=’B01HY18A9U’ text=’Vufine wearable’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’techsagar-21′ marketplace=’IN’ link_id=’53a9cf4c-7485-11e8-a7e5-13e2afbbfef0′] and Standard magnetic docking stations, 1 HDMI and 1 USB cable, 1 pair of non-prescription glasses with microfiber carrying case. The microfiber carrying case is nice for easy and safe storage.

Coming to the design, it features an elegant, comfortable design. However, it’s all plastic but doesn’t feel cheap. The L-shaped gadget is definitely durable. The gadget features an LCD at one end and two ports at the other: the first, micro USB and the other, a mini HDMI. The micro USB is used to charge up the battery, which is fine for around 90 minutes of extreme use. The mini HDMI, hooks up the Vufine wearable display to an external video source. The eyepiece weighs around 25 grams, and adding in the magnetic bracket takes that up to around 33 grams. It is available in four limited edition colors through Kickstarter. Connecting the wearable device is simple. It can be connected with any of the devices or gadgets capable of outputting a 720p HDMI signal.
Hardware & Performance
Image quality offered by the device is amazingly good. There are no brightness, contrast, or other picture controls, and no adjustments for focus. It’s not transparent so you can’t see what’s going on behind the display.

You can also customize your viewing experience by using 3 different display modes-– Standard, Zoom and Fit in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. There are some downsides. One is the Magnetic Docking Station+ which doesn’t give a solid feel.

Verdict
You should buy it or not is completely depends on your need. Yes, it’s not for everyone and also not very easy to adopt. It’s a specialized tool and you can consider it only if you wanted to interact with your smartphone more discretely, to keep an eye on drone footage, remotely see your camera’s viewfinder. This is a great wearable display choice that supports an impressive list of compatible cameras at a reasonable price.
