Uses of Instant Tuning
You’ll see three buttons in the notification center as soon as the notification arrives. Swipe left on any notification and select “Manage”. On the other hand, you can 3D Touch a notification, then hit the ellipses icon (•••) on the notification to access the same menu.
A popup will come out with two prominent buttons: “Deliver Quietly” and “Turn Off.” By selecting “Turn Off” option, future notifications will only appear in the Notification center. It will skip your lock screen.
App’s badge will still show but without any banner, sounds, and vibrations.
It will turn off lock screen alerts, banner alerts, sounds, and Badges and you will no longer receive any notifications from the app.
Uses Of Setting Button in the Same Popup
There is also a “Settings” button on this same popup. By tapping this option user will direct to the individual app’s notification menu.
Here, users have even more controls to handle the appearance of its notifications. This setting can be changed or undo by selecting “Deliver Prominently” option.
It will be displayed by swiping left on the notification and choosing “Manage”.
