Motorola Moto Z2 Force Review
Design & Display
Thin and light-weighted, Z2 Force device measures 76 x 155.8 x 6.1mm and weighs just 143 grams. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. It’s an AMOLED type display, with deep blacks and rich colors. The Smartphone is available in two color options i.e. Black, Gold. The phone has a 5MP front camera, along with an LED flash on the top. On the right side, the phone is equipped with the three buttons for volume up, down and power. There are a dual 12 MP cameras on the back with an LED flash unit.
A headphone jack is not available, but there is a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter for those with existing headphones. The phone is covered with the ShatterShield technology and manufacturer guarantees that it won’t crack for up to four years. However, it’s not scratch-proof, which is the main concern due to the plastic top layer. And the scratches are clearly visible during the sleeping mode.

Performance
Motorola Moto Z2 Force Powered by a 2.35 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6 GB RAM and 64GB internal memory and Adreno 540 graphics processor I didn’t notice any lag during testing the Z2 Force. 64 GB of internal storage can be expanded to 2 TB via a microSD card that’s enough for almost everyone.
Camera
Moto Z2 Force has a dual primary camera of 12 + 12 megapixel and 5 megapixel front Camera use the monochrome and RGB combination. The dual rear camera also offers dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and has Sony IMX386 sensors with a pixel size of 1.25um along with PDAF, Laser Auto Focus, and 4k video recording. Front facing camera of the smartphone comes with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. For taking selfies, front-facing 5MP is quite good. I love the object recognition and landmark recognition options and they work as the company mentioned it. To employ the object recognition feature, you need to download landmark database.
Battery & Connectivity
The Phone comes with a 2730 mAh battery which is the big downside of the device. Moto Mods are absolutely flawless in their implementation. However, you need to accept the 6,220 mAh combined battery power with two compromises. One is that the phone does get hot when charging with the mod, especially in Turbo mode. And second is that Battery pack Moto Mod with huge 3490 mAh battery makes the phone bulky. It is recommended that don’t carry it in your pocket while charging the phone.

Coming to the connectivity, Z2 Force equipped with a number of options: – 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2 (5.0 enabled after Android O), GPS with GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.
Verdict
One of the compelling devices of Z series, Moto Z2 Force hosts powerful features and functions with the sharp and vivid display, ShatterShield technology, excellent battery life (with the Mod attached), great performance and fast and fluid software that definitely makes Z2 Force a better deal. Camera quality is quite unsatisfactory particularly when you’re paying over 30,000 for a device.
