Talking about features, it supports multitasking; this is one of the best features it has to offer. We all look for apps that support multitasking. It also supports landscape view. Apart from this, it has only one window for multiple servers, plenty of easy keyboard shortcuts. It is fast, the arrow buttons help you navigate in an admirably good speed. It is stable and convenient to use. One of the other great features is that it highlights messages, vibrates for specific words, with SSL and Voice Over support. Then there are other features that other apps come with, like; built-in browser designed for clickable URLs and visual interface for user info.
The social networking app is easy to work with, and the only thing you will need to understand is what you can do when you click on a user’s name while you use the app. You might find the “Who is”, “Talk” and “Paste Nickname” buttons unfamiliar to the usual options that show while you click on somebody’s name. To explain it a little, the “Who is” button tells you who that person is; the address, real name, channels, server and info of the server, time when he/she is idle, unavailable/away message and sign-on. The “Talk” button allows you to privately talk to this user. While on the chat if any other user wants to “talk” to you, you will be notified with orange arrows. And the “Paste Nickname” button pastes the user’s nickname into your message, a colon follows and you can type your message to the user. Once done with chatting you can simply click “Off” next to the channel name to disconnect from the channel you want to.
