Design
K55 RGB Gaming Keyboard comes in a standard rectangular design and also boasts flat key faces. The keys of the membrane keyboard are comfortable and sturdy. The keys arrangement is good and high and also boasts good spacing. Typing is smooth, satisfying and natural. This pretty decent looking keyboard comes with the pretty layout. 6 dedicated macro keys placed on the left-hand side with additional keys completes the standard look of the keyboard. There are also additional keys for media playback, volume control, windows key lock, lighting control and finally, macro record placed in the upper right sector.

The major body of the keyboard is an all black and the top is finished in a glossy, reflective black. There is Corsair logo placed at the top. It also has a Detachable soft rubber wrist rest made of soft black plastic. This stuff is pretty good to support your gameplay during marathon gaming sessions. The bottom of the keyboard also features four rubber pads. Performance
On the front of performance, The K55 is a superior keyboard while comparing to most of the traditional rubber dome switch keyboard. This keyboard has a 3 zone RGB backlight system which is pretty decent. The system can be set to Rainbow Wave, Color Shift, Color Wave and Static Color modes via either different function key shortcuts or via the Corsair Utility Engine Software.
The CORSAIR K55 offers built-in memory to store your settings for future use. The keyboards also support “Anti-Ghosting” features that checks keystrokes from being lost when numerous keys are pressed simultaneously.
