Comes in a plastic body, Alcatel 1T 7 has no premium look and feel. The Alcatel 1T 7 has dimensions of 190 x 111 x 9.15mm and weighs only 245g. The 1T 7 tablet features 7.0 inches (17.78 cm) IPS HD display (1280 x 800 pixels resolution) which is perfect for watching movies or playing games. The slate is available in two color options namely premium black and bluish black. There’s a 5 MP camera on the rear side with no LED flash and a 2 MP camera on the front side for selfies or video calling. In addition to amazing features, Alcatel 1T 7 also features Kids Mode.

The Kids Mode contains a set of pre-loaded ad-free apps and content such as a camera app for kids, drawing app, games, and built-in parental controls. Via parental control panel, parents can set the time limits on tablet use to ensure kids don’t overdose on mobile games and also restricts the apps for kids use. I love the device for its Eye Care mode feature which diminishes blue light exposure to reduce straining effects on the eye.
Hardware & Performance
The device is powered by a Quad core, 1.3 GHz, Cortex A7 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM onboard with a memory speed of about 500 MHz for light multitasking. The Alcatel IT 7 also supports 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It has ARM Mali-400 MP2 to handle graphics which comes with 2-cores and reaches a speed of 500 MHz with 28nm process technology. One of the notable features of the device is the latest Android build i.e. Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 port, FM Radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Battery & Charging
