The device is only available in an attractive cobalt blue color at the moment. The Acer Chromebook tab 10 measures 6.78 x 9.38 x 0.39 inches and weighs 1.21 pounds. At 1.21 pounds, tab 10 is slightly bulky than the entry-level iPad. Plastic materials used in the fabrication of the device’s body is not so striking. However, the tablet supports a good grip. The device supports 9.7-inch QXGA IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 2048 x 1536 QXGA resolution. On the front of features, Chromebook Tab 10 supports Google Play, letting teachers and students’ access administrator-approved educational Android apps.

The Acer Chromebook tab 10 has a Rockchip RK3399 chip with Hexa-core processor and 64- bit CPU architecture. It also supports 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion. The RAM space comes with a memory speed of 1.866 GHz. This education-focused tab is the first slate running on Chrome operating system which is suitable for a growing number of tasks. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera.
The Tab also has USB Type-C port accompanied by a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual speakers. Other main specs include 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1.
Battery & Charging
The tab is powered by a 9000mah (34wh) non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. The Chromebook Tab 10 arrives with a built-in Wacom EMR Stylus. This Wacom-branded stylus is one of the notable features in tab 10 that does not need a battery or any additional charging. It takes around 3 hours in full charging. As per the company claims the Chromebook Tab 10 will last for 10 hours on a single battery charge.
